RESEARCHING FAIRGROUND AND CIRCUS ANCESTORS

NATIONAL FAIRGROUND ARCHIVE
This site is a good starting place to investigate fairground and circus ancestors. There are lots of photographs on the site and they hold a lot of material relating to 19th and 20th century.
They can also provide research at a cost of 30 British pounds per half hour.
